Biyan Products LLC has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2011, located in Gomushchu village, Saatly district Azerbaijan.  Our company is the largest grower and harvester of liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) roots in the country.
 

Liquorice has been highly praised botanical for thousands of years with many uses including as a tea and dietary supplement in natural medicine.  Liquorice is also a very popular natural sweetener due to its content of Glycyrrhizin (glycyrrhizinic acid) which is 30 to 50 times sweeter than table sugar.

Liquorice is also a source of the molecule Glabridin and is widely used in the cosmetic industry as a natural skin whitening compound.

Biyan Products LLC employs more than 30 persons in our production facility and over 200 people are involved in the harvesting and collection of raw roots from our liquorice fields.

Biyan Products cultivation and production capacity is 3000 tons in dry form per annum.  We harvest in Gomushchu village and Sheki regions where highest quality liquorice grows in Azerbaijan.  Every year we supply several export markets, including: Iran, Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine, UAE, Egypt and others.
